CPPPH identified the core content and core principles for effective functioning of medical staff/medical group wellbeing committees and has organized the material into five videoconference sessions.

Note - Because this is a 5-part program, registration for this series is for ALL of the sessions.  There is no prorated registration for a single date. You are encouraged to participate in the full series, but attendance for all 5 is not required for CME credit. Your certificate of attendance will document the sessions you attended.

Who Should Attend:

The workshops are open to all interested persons involved in physician health activities. They are designed particularly for those who have a role with a wellbeing committee of a medical staff or medical group and/or those with a leadership or peer review role in the medical staff or medical group.

Learning Objectives: 

After participating in these sessions, the learner should be able to:

  1. List two things the committee should have completed before the first meeting is held with a physician referred to the committee
  2. List three things the committee should require in the report of an evaluation
  3. Describe the contents of a monitoring agreement

Credit:

Application to NAMSS has been filed; determination of credit is pending.

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians; determination of credit is pending.
